What is this brenihana you speak of? Sounds whacktacular
All lameness aside, pretty interested to see how they do in the overseas market. As far as I know, no Aus board company has been competitive enough to do better than just stay afloat.
Corrections welcome

Davo told me all about when juice tried to expand overseas (I remember their transworld ads)... long story short it basically killed them overnight.

I have no idea what 24 is, but the quick expansion to a highly competitive US market will probably be the death of the company. I'm guessing they are going to be ridiculed to death on SLAP anytime soon

This kid is trying to build an empire on quicksand... Has he got no respect for the companies who have worked their way from the ground up?

Can someone please tell me the difference between 24 and nike and how they bought their way into skateboarding.. people on here are saying oh they didnt start from the ground and build respect... well didnt nike just buy every pro out there?? there a multi billion dollar company that can sponsor comps and so call "support skating" yet they make every other smaller company's that is a legit skate core brand that has worked from the bottom go out of business..Yet every one is like "oh but there the best shoe out there " which is just a gimmick because other then nugget the people who are pushing skateboarding s limits dont even ride for nike eg "david g , mr huston.

So you sit here a bitch about a company that is doing the same thing as nike , yet they dont have all the pros they brought from the sweat shop sales for a buck. If 24 had money and could buy pros would it be any differant?
Ddrew22 June 2013
You can't compare Nike and 24. Nike manufacture and design innovative and high quality products. All 24 does (like most board companies) is email a picture for someone else to print on a fairly generic piece of wood.
^^hello^22 June 2013
yes that is true , but if 24 had money and did design and produce high quality products , would it be the same? buying there way into a culture?

Interesting. They must be doing something right if the heads on this website are getting their hate on.. Thats like the first beacon of a major success story 'worthy of hate from sk8parx forumheads'... They will have boards in Walmart stores within 6 months judging by how fired up the ppl in this thread are getting.

Shutdown - their price is right. But as I said before if all wholesalers cut out skate shops and sold directly, who would win? $45 board form 24 or cliche', chocolate etc? No one cuts out the middle man and sells at a wholesale rate, accept them. Therefor if we are to stoop to their level, skate shops would not exist.

*except them - sorry type on the red wine.
