Get a piece of string cut to the length of the radius of your curve, make a loop in each end. Hook one end onto something stable, and hook a marker in the other end. Then use the string to give an arc...

one for a fixing point and one for your marker or pencil....as a string may flex depending on how tight you pull on it.
