Aalbert durbano21 Apr 2009hey man are you gonna put the hubbas and rails in like your 1st plan showed
AJ has the hubbas and rail at his place resting his leg on them.

AJ is using one of the hubbas he is using as a table
with his traditional japanese setting to go with the pillows and chopsticks he has. The black table in the middle was replaced by a hubba to match the decor.
albert durbano, yer i have already bought the rail and we will see about hubbas.
Better be a square rail bryce.
Aalbert durbano23 Apr 2009sick man cant wait to see the clip from the finished product

Michael Mulhall26 Apr 2009Hey Bryce, sorry to be a party poop, but I just thought I'd warn you of a couple of potential mishaps that may occur with your ramp.
Due to the single layer surface, don't be shocked if you put a hole in the ramp with a wheel, or an elbow. I know you wanted to keep it cheap, but you really do need 2 layers of 3 ply.
The other problem is that you've put in the transition ribs using the wide side to support the surface. The wide side is actually weaker and if you land hard enough from a trick or bail, you may crack a beam. Even worse, you may make a body size hole. Always use the narrow side of the 2x4 as the support.
Once again.. I'm sorry for pointing out the negatives, but a well built ramp, is a safe, fun, and lasting ramp.
