whoa drew, thats awesome that its been recorded

I always wanted to get the family stories from my relatives.

from my direct relative a scottish king and clan leader, to my nazi great grandmother, and story of the death of a great uncle in vietnam.

So many good stories get lost

oh do tell me more about your fabulous heritage!

IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED US TO ASK JEJE?

PS. What are opinions on David Gemmel? I'm reading Legend now because I remember having a graphic novel of it when I was a kid and had been reading too much of G RR Martin's work recently (one offs and stuff other than ASOIF). Gemmel stuff seems pretty paint-by-numbers fantasy, nothin spesh.

I have just finished 'My Mother Warned Me About Blokes Like Me' by Boris Mihailovic - very funny stories of motorcycles, drugs, booze, sex and a thalidomide dwarf being orally raped by a bull terrier. I commend this fine tome to all and sundry.

In other new's I finished the new Dark Tower (Stephen King) book, The Wind through the Keyhole. It was pretty good, hard to remember a lot of detail's though given I haven't read the Dark Tower series for probably a year and a half+.

Also brought Snuff (Chuck Palahniuk) which brings me to 10/12 Palahniuk book's.

Finished both of them on the way from Cairns to Adelaide, so looking for any recommendations. More or less any genre, preferably fiction.

Have any of you read Hunter S Thompson's "Hells Angels" ? Just got it and yet to read.
YYoucunt...8 Aug 2012
Yeah I have read it, I think it kinda faded in and out of being really good to really slow. Worth the read though. Its no fear and loathing though if that is what your looking for.

Gregor The Passage is great, the sequel (The Twelve) not so much...
Just my opinion I suppose, but yeah, The Passage is actually really good if maybe a little hard to follow

I'm reading that now too. I reckon it's pretty good too. About 2/3 in and thinking shit's about to get gnarly.
