i would agree, homefront gameplay has always looked average as fuck graphics wise, but thats wat i expected as its a new game, and a smaller developer i think. but im atleast hoping online its fun. even small reviews like that people like woody will mean 90% of the more involved gamer who goes on forums and watches videos wont purchase it which means there wont be a homefront 2 and that means there will be 1 less fps modern shooter to compete with call of duty. awesome.

it is looking like another moh. get excited but end up let down. will purchase from eb and hold onto my receipt.

that idea someone had about jumping around knifing or watever seems ok. but this might be hard to explain. the reason people are still playing cod4 cod5 and mw2 *even back as far as counter strike which still has a huge fanbase. is because the creative ways of killing someone arent scripted things like u just push a button like in killzone and u have a 2 second cutscene type deal where ur stabbing sum1 in the face or like that idea u would be jumping off walls and stealth assasinating people. the random ways of killing people in cod games isnt scripted. its trick shots and finding new creative ways to kill people that are based around practice and skill. not just pushing a button triggering something the game developer put in the game. if ur following wat i mean.

bf franchise is getting closer to this feeling but its still a bit off. just needs the core gameplay to be simple and easy. but then give the player alot of choice in how they play it for them to mix and match and use in there own way.

it looks like crysis 2 might have this type of feel to it. but im just personally not a fan of the biosuit turn invisible future war setting. but that game looks like a winner. its a PS3 compatible version of halo haha.

i still play counterstrike occasionally. bots are good fun, just give them a certain weapon only (ie. knife, or for real laughs grenades) and go to town on them.

i think treyarch have left that "glitch" in there intentionally to further aid the war on quickscopers.
they've pretty much made it so you cant properly use the sniper rifles unless your not moving at all, which is what im pretty sure is a requirement of sniping.

the 'real life' argument is irrelivant when talking about black ops.. because its a game....

but i would agree thats pretty much exactly what theyve done. they dont like that people run around with them so they made it harder to move and shoot with them, i find it to be ridiculous. but lefty brings up a really good point that i noticed as soon as i tried the sniper. the zooming animation is completely changed so when you bring up the scope the move from the main view to through the scope is a gradual thing, whereas with every single previous cod game it was the animation of the rifle coming up then it snapped to the scope view. and thats wat made quickscoping wat it is, that look and feel. thats wat commentators and montage makers when they say it looks good. now the zoom in looks like dog shit.

ive gotten the l96 a few times playing zombies where theres no sway at all but the zoom is the same and its still soo shit even though the bullet is going where it should be.

basically treyarch and the casual gamer had it in for snipers and they got rid of it. but in 6 mths when the next game is out they will move on yet again, trade in black ops and forget it existed, just like they did with cod4 and mw2. and the hardcore game will aswell because in this sense it has no lasting value. wheras cod4 and mw2 while not perfect and they had balance issues and flaws are still as popular as ever because of these small little things that are in it.

alsoo operation flashpoint red river looks amazing. from the 10 minute gameplay footage vids ive seen the control and movement engines look soo much smoother than wat they were. and the games graphics are a big step up, the environments look soo good now. id have to compare it to medal of honor as far as how it looks which is a good thing because that game looked damn good in multiplayer, but as far as gameplay halfway between moh and BC2 but sharper than BC2 if u get wat i mean, its not gunna be super popular with every 15 year old kid trying to get epic pwnage kills mannn!! but it looks rad.. will definitely be picking it up. hopefully it doesnt turn out to be a letdown like dragon rising was. and if homefront sucks which it looks like it might atleast its there as a replacement haha

realised half hr ago homefront is out in the US. been watching HD gameplays. looks ok, but i mean ur not gunna be waitng at eb games at 9am for it.

youtube search homefront multiplayer gameplay then change the search options to videos uploaded either in the last day or the last week and that should get rid of all the cinematic official shit that the game developers have released and just give u all the clips people have recorded

there isnt much in the way of guns though. 4 assault rifles that looks pretty similar. a few different rpgs that do slightly different things. theres alot of perks but there basically stolen from cod games. which is probably a pretty good thing.

the multiplayer is basically identical to call of duty, kill people earn xp unlock attachments. theres perks and killstreaks.

theres only 2 snippers, the semi auto Barrett M110 and the CheyTac M200 (intervention) bolt action.

yeh I dno what happened man was tryen to get ya in, if invite doesnt work try going to friends and join session in progress and get into the party that way.

yeh that's the only way i could join, black ops invite system is so slow and shit, also not having a single class with an automatic weapon set up sucks, especially when you come up against a clan of fags using 74u's and the best ive got available is a wa200 or m16

the invite system on black ops is good, just one button to invite friends, no need to open the dashboard

well i definitely liked the playstation friends list system on mw2, i found it worked much smoother than the in game black cocks bullshit, it also meant that if a game froze or something and you got stuck you could just pop the playstation menu up, click triangle and join another friends game to bypass the frozen game or whatever

i take back wat i said about operation flashpoint red river. it wont be good. ill get it and play it but it will suck.

graphics and movement system looks better than BFBC2. but its really only a single player game. and from what ive seen in long gameplay videos the AI enemies are still retarded and just stand there in the open while ur shooting at them.

there moving away from the realistic feel aswell its actually pathetic to see. u can get blasted with 2-3 bullets and then 10 seconds of holding a button and ur magically healed. in cod thats cool bcoz its how the game works. in operation flashpoint thats ridiculous as it was origonally a combat simulator styled game.
