anyone hitting up the gears 3 beta?

black ops perks are starting to ruin MW2. its almost at the point where its 50/50 stopping power and cold blooded users.

before black ops maybe 1 in a lobby used cold blooded in a regular game unless there was air support up, now its constant.

so what are people meant to use? cold blooded seems a pretty good idea when every cunt camps with the intervention and has there kill streak set on ac130/chopper gunner.
people that complain about the shit other people use is damn annoying, the gun/perk is in the game to be used, if you were only meant to use certain weapons/perks would they be the only one available?

ps: hopefully modern warfare takes halo reachs' lead and implements a competitive and social playlists, that would get rid of the "noobs with interventions using cold blooded and stopping power"

wat else do cold blooded players use, silencers. while it doest take them that 1-2 bullets extra to kill they generally get the kill from behind. its cheap and i dont care for it.

i would smile if u were limited to not be able to use cold blooded perk/or ghost and silencer. its either one or the other. that i think would balance it and make gameplay alot less annoying.

halo is its own game and relates to cod and other modern day shooters in no way.

exactly, have you noticed how in every other game except for modern warfare 2 you cant do that with a sniper rifle? sniper rifles are for sniping, your not meant to be able to sprint around and do "fully sick hectic 720 no scope spin fakie pistol switch reverse fakie silent shots"

homefront graphics are fucking terrible.

im gunna say it again.. call of duty and infact every game that has ben talked about in this thread. not real life. theyre actually games. therefore the realistic argument is pointless

it hasnt really. theres just more people doing it. its honestly about as easy to snipe playing cod4 but less people played it.

homefront. dont get it. woody wasnt lying, game looks fucking terrible. like i honestly cant believe it looks this shit. the game is a camp fest, but u pretty much have to 2 get kills. so many open areas and no cover. and even then if ur behind something u only have to roughly look in he direction of an enemy and there name pops up in red so u know where they are. ive even soo far spotted people on the other sides of walls because there name was showing in red.

and if u get it. do ok but not really well otherwise a wallhack red square goes up for the enemy to see exactly where u are and hunt u down. seriously, if ur doing well and on a good killstreak it lets the enemy team know exactly where u are. its retarded.

moving around is ok though. its not smooth by any means but its better than BFBC2

Most good players don't use ghost, bad players who do use ghost shouldn't be good enough to get behind you and shoot you in the back in the first place at least not regularly. Ive never quit a game because of people using ghost, now and again one will kill me and its like whatever he killed me because he wasnt on the uav. Doesnt happen often enough to make me rage quit and not play the game. My worse ghost experience was actually today in a game of domination there was not one red dot on the uav. We still won still went positive, because 90% of ghost players are shit.
I never use ghost, flak jacket gets you killed way less in this game.
If video games piss you off that much just dont play them I guess.

homefront is a legit writeoff. basically as soon as people earn enough points to get the drones and helicopters and shit u spend the rest of the game being shot at from above by shit thats too far away or too small to shoot down

just picture the uavs from BFBC2 but when u destroy one, u start to run and theres 2 more in the air trying to get you.

ive never quit a MW2 game bcoz of people using cold blooded, but in Black Ops i completely stopped playing team deathmatch bcoz of it. that perk has slowest the pace of that game mode soo much. its soo damn boring. some games were nearing the point of playing HC tdm.

i find cold blooded to be kind of cheap almost to use all the time, and mix that in with a silencer and u can literally lay in a bush, wait for sum1 to run past and drop them. then go back to the same bush and do it again. sure the good players arent doing it but i think that makes it more annoying.

sure u could argue stopping power is kinda cheap. but a uav is only 3 kills and then bam everyone knows where u are silenced or not, aswell as predator missiles, harriers, pavelows etc etc etc.

Maybe i'm just retarded but on the prev. page Genesis brings up people camping with the intervention then starts to argue the exact opposite...

haha just picked up the intervention playing homefront. it has a thermal scope. thats the spirit, give a powerful bolt action sniper rifle a thermal scope on a game like this with huge maps. great game balance. its not like everyone will use that and make the other sniper useless at all
