my guess was either starting his own company like most of the older skaters now days, to make some extra moneys.

if u look back to Og skate movies like search for animal chin majority of skaters were wearing nikes... just because nike make sports boots and runners ppl are up in arms that theyre not for skating blah blah blah.

nah what im saying is, and i belive im correct by saying this, nike never used to sponsor skaters until it was blates making much dough. So i'd rather buy off of a company that is basically skate through and through. if nikes shoe sales were to decrease, big deal, nike would still survive. But if other shoe companies, like Emerica, eS' and others, had a big decrease in sales i belive its fair to say the majority of the company would be fucked.

thats my opinion, and thats why i prefer not to buy nikes, other than that i also dont really like alot of their shoes anyhow.
