i think uve got a good point shantyjack u wont get any hate from it....the reason i love nikes is that their so comfy and sick to skate in! nothing about supporting other shoe brands or whatever, id rather have a good skate in a shoe that feels comfy has great board feel and looks good to rather than support a brand lets say etnies which i think their shoes are uncomfy and shit to skate in....thats a pretty general comment mind u...i guess ur saying that you wouldnt wear vans then either because every person nowdays wears authentics???? so therefore if skaters stopped wearing their shoes they'd survive??? so therefore not really just a skate shoe anymore?? ive had so many problems with other brands such as dvs, dc, es etc but havent really had any with nike after about 5 pairs!....and if their is a market which they can make money out of then why not!! but all this stuff about them not being about or for skating is shit

Nah...all the brands feel pretty much the same. Once you wear-in a shoe, it feels the same as the others. The shoes are mostly made in the same Chinese factories. All the brands have top pros on their teams. There's not much difference in 'performance', just aesthetics.

I prefer to support a skater-owned company like Lakai than a gigantic coporation like Nike. But it's understandable that Koston would switch to Nike and a bigger paycheck. Whatever.

Nike are pumping a lot of money into skating, so they're not all bad. I still don't wanna wear their shoes though.

yhe scotty you got a point about vans, and thats cool. I've never actualy bought a pair of nikes to skate and therfore i can not commment of comfyness.

its not on the website bro...just been posted here...even if u look at the overall pic of the shoe u can clearly see that the blue tick is a different focus than the rest of the shoe.....someones just taken the blue tick and put it over the lakai koston ones..
