customers going online to purchase cheaper products?
Iimgne_25 Feb 2011
Oh fair enough thought you were gonna go on a rant or something, makes sense now...

Drew infamously is known for not liking the term 'supporting Australian skateboarding' but in all reality the only reason why I have chosen to keep purchasing from Australian shops is because they're the only place I can get Australian brand boards...

MMark Brimson25 Feb 2011
Rant? Even I don't have anything in the tank tonight.

Imgne - thought you were getting the DIY board company / graphic deal, or is that way old news now?

Speaking of aussie brands, what was funny was going in to a shop and seeing a whole lot of Kewday boards still on the wall.

Gotta wonder if they would even still be ok to skate - wood been sitting too long or whatever.

Who of aussie brands is there anyway still doing wood:

Elan
Four
Passport / Seven (different but really the same)
GMTA
Hoon

All the others are just blanks / same as shop boards with their own company graphics aren't they or have I forgotten some worth mentioning?

Sshit25 Feb 2011
hey mark.. define for me "still doing wood" also who are "All the others are just blanks" who are all the others?
MMark Brimson25 Feb 2011
Probably another one of the look back at it and wonder what I was on about, even from my own perspective.

Meant: Brands on their own, not just distro blanks / their own brand of deck, eg kwala had kwala boards. That would be all the distros boards NOT mentioned as OTHERS.

Feel free to add to the list, as I only thought of the first couple, then added the others.

Hoon - actually started as wheels, now doing wood, so new to the aussie board company list.

Just looked at the shop to see which boards imgne would buy and that is what I saw from that list.

I guess I would have forgotten someone?

Has anyone used a US mail forwarding company? I was looking at one called Bongo but it's hard to tell if it's a scam. Has anyone had any experiences with any of these?
