its also the kind of tech shit. nuggets stuff is insane but to me seeing a switch flip back tail variation with a shitty folk song and a robot style sucks. but seeing guy go full speed and do tricks that are hard enough to even imagine let alone do is different. i know what you mean but felipe and nugget just have a standard trick, crooks for felipe and switch back tail for nuget but guy and mj have so many different core tricks. oh and style is a massive factor

Theres only so much flow you can have when doing some crazy flip in and flip out combo on a ledge, and nugget is cleaner / better than most... what I think you will find is really going on is a case of 'oldcuntrespectitis' - a common disease among skaters where you see old cunts doing stuff and convince yourself its a million times better than any of the younger cunts style. Since skating hides behind the 'artform' veil, no amount of logic or science can be used to cure a sever case of 'oldcuntrespectitis'.

The ny premiere was at the same place they did the stay gold one and there was a palpable difference. There were more people and everyone was way more hyped. Once you start watching the video its like all your complaints pretty much melt away, it was sick. Well, maybe not all of them but the video is so hype. Definitely amazing. Will be buying for all the extra shit and footy and the filming is just way too gorgeous.

For the video, ty used some hollywood cameras and you really see the money that was spent on the screen. night filming looked amazing. This was more like fully flared 2 than a yeah right type video and theres clearly a lot of baggage from the last video. The virtual reality to fully flareds questionable. You can totally tell that they wanted this to be just as heavy. I think whatever the next video is will be a helluva lot better because they dont have to introduce all these new guys or corral the older guys. All the new kids are going to keep getting better and be morre amazing in the future. Whatever the next video is, im happy to wait for it. If theres a lot of gino footage on the bonus reel ill be annoyed. The video couldve been 30 minutes longer and no one wouldve cared, it was in a lot of ways a pointless editing choice to not give some of the older dudes real parts.

The music is a hit or miss. Youll love some songs youll hate others.

The intro was like a combination of all the girl video intros before it. Slow mo and all.

The skits were kinda stupid and were not in the vein of yeah right or mouse. Will arnett plays a taller giovanni reda and jack black does a really bad beagle impression. The suit skating reminded me of heath and jeremy kleins part in the end but not as good.

Vincent murdered it. Some gap skaters are gonna be out of jobs or have to try a looot more. All the skating was really good. all the 540 variations kinda blew my mind. That darkstar kid is going to have go try a lot harder
Theres some really good lines all over his part dug all of the shit he did around LA. Songs were kindofa weird choice, definitely a weird pairing but it was edited well. This dude is chocolate through and through.Put justin gullian on already !

Cory kennedy is fucking nuts. Why is no one talking about all the grind flip grind combos? That shit is the next trend for sure. I wish there were even more in his part. He goes heavy on everything. I knew he could skate everything but i wasnt expecting some of that stuff in his part. And did his dad pick his song? Bob seger? That was pretty stupid. Its not pj ladds wonderful horrible life but he has a whole lifetime of skating ahead of him. Hes only going to get better. That was still like the new bar for lots of dudes trying to get some.

Alex olsons part is the pappalardo part from fully flared. Youre either going to really like it or just be like, hah thats cool, whatever. He ollies lots of big things. His lines were good and he does some good tricks but it was kindofa dissappointment for me. I guess my expectations were too high. Mike carroll does feeble grinds and BA does stupid tricks down big things and makes them look good. Nothing really out of the ordinary from alex. Its still a really good part just not what i thought id see. He gets technical a little bit but some of it is not in good taste. Oh well. He can still keep getting paid off that part. The beastie boy song felt forced. If youre a true believer youll love it.

Gino does not have a part and his tricks were all whatever, its sandwiched with other guys and it was a huge downer. I guess for me there was a lot of hype surrounding his part after his epicly laterd and all the coverage he was getting. Im over this dude now. Still one of the best style guys but im not going to misplace any hope into a part from him next time.

I was actually looking forward to a chris roberts part and i was kinda bummed he didnt have one. His last real footage was in via marina and that had the misfortune of coming out when fully flared did. I wasnt really expecting anything from eldridge or castillo so im not dissappointed by them at all.

Kenny anderson. one word: classy. He shares his part with other people but it shouldve just been a solo part.

Stevie perez's part is uptodate but and is on par with lots of dudes who go hard. Hes never going to be some revolutionary skater but hes definitely doing cutting edge shit to good music. He gives you that chocolate vibe. That song couldve been in mouse or yeah right. Its good for a company going through an identity crisis to put someone on thats like the roots of the company.

Berle goes hard, all his shit goes hard. Great part to an obvious song.

Mikemo does his BATB tricks at real spots. Like whoa. He had my favorite part in fully flared but the song totally killed this part for me. More dadrock. Its still really really good and i will be rewatching it. On mute.

Raven goes hard the song is kinda whatever. Its a lot of super flowy stuff that'll get you hyped. Im a terrible tranny skater but his part makes me want to really try. None of that drone-ish back and forth bs air shit like in some grant taylors parts (grant taylor is really good but c'mon, he films way too many of those crappy half pipish limes a lot and its kinda boring do more of that stuff you did in the nike tour instead sometime) His street stuff is good but nothing crazy.

Marc johnson finally put the part out that i wanted to see in fully flared. Replay value for days. Definitely my favorite part in the video and it has the best music. That part is him in a nutshell. Just watch it i dont want to ruin it.

Malto went for it. Its all his front truck tricks but on way bigger shit. Giving reynolds a run for his money but not jaws if you want some perspective for how big he goes. Hes up there with sandoval and billy marks now. Sam smyth might keep his antwan tapes lying around for a reminder but jamie thomas must be kicking himself for not putting malto on when he had thr chance. Hes philipino wore backwards hata and skates big rails. Thats like, 50% of your demographic. You blew it. Also, told you his ender was an indoor rail. Jusice song was pretty sick.

sydney prem was terriffic!! i had such a good time. the video was certainly not a let down, ty evans got wierd as fuck but it went well with the theme. i had to ask my buddy next to me to convince me we weren't at a slayer concert when i saw some guy in the theatre light up a cigarette in a clearly non-smoking cinema, CUNTR8-9/10 also guy mariano hung out the front of the cinema talking to everyone and being a hammerlord in sincerity and general good blokeness.

Guy Mariano was the man. He stood outside the entrance into the cinema for quite a while, hanging out, talking to fans and saying how much he appreciated it. Top bloke
