For those who have just jumped on the skate scene bandwagon. Your new, you don't know too much about how this all works. The last 10 years where were you? Well i can tell you Newcastle Skate were there. Well to me this comes down to who has done the most for the community. Newcastle Skate has done copious amounts for the scene over the years. Brought out the majority of skaters featured on THPS series, Black label vs Deca demos, Globe comps and demo's. You can't just not be a skater and get in on this and expect everyone to come to you. What Owen and Bobby have done over the course of a decade not many could do, especially with lack of experience and contacts. I havn't talked to O in a while, but I can say that I, even leaving on bad terms, I can still sit here and say, that the guy has done more than every shop in Newcastle put together. Ill give these other shops and "companies" 20 years to do what Newi Skate have done in half that and they wouldn't even come close.

Ah my bad here we go, Sorry J, but as a kid, when first getting into skateboarding, and then seeing the PEOPLE you played as in the THPS games, and that "thrasher game" and "grind session" before your eyes doing tricks in front of you. Daewon in real life, for some that could be the pivotal moment were your either legitimatly inspired by people and intrigued that you are forever a follower and I'm sorry to say, but I was one of those people who saw an ollie up a gutter and thought that was THE shit. if you want me to elaborate, i wasnt talking just THPS so dont criticise and call me out on one thing.

there are a fair few companies out there these days doing price point decks, which may not be as cheap as a blank, but there pretty damn close.
