Shutdown gave me time of day when I was an ultra grommie with a pristine condition vx1000 with no custom settings being used at all, sporting a raynox clip on fish eye (that may as well have been non existent) filming mob kick flips down 3 stairs.

He accepted my Sydney skate spot submissions to his skate spots section on ledgewax.com and he put me in the right direction with the basics of how to film skateboarding, and always gave me help even if I was asking a dumb question.

He's a nice bloke in real life, and I'm not telling you to not hate him because everyone has there own reasons to things like this. I just wanted to world to know that he does do good!!!

Shutdown, I haven't forgot everything you did for me as a grommie, thank you!!!

But I cant deny, that Martin Place slam was fucking amazing...

If you reckon it was that good it would only be fair to share the experience with the 1 or 2 ppl who apparently WERENT there that day. Maybe im just used to eating shit in un-steezy ways that it doesn't mean that much to me..

So im in town (Sydney) with grundy filmin some shit and he decides to go bro down at Martin. I was kinda down on the idea cos I knew thered be a million scene rats there and by then I was fairly notorious for sk8parx hate threads and knew that my presence would not go un-noticed. Arrive at martin, im running a backpack containing a vx1k (YEP NTSC), a 1 chip sony cam, a death lens, a long neck and a bunch of tapes n shit innit.

Figuring id show all these cunts how fuckin RAD I am I decide to ollie up the smallest gutter at martin after rolling into the 'scene'. Landed a sketchy ollie and shot out, slammed onto my backpack and got a death lens edge on into the ribs that winded the shit outta me.

Piss funny no doubt.. Especially considering it was most these goons first time meeting me... Couldn't have scripted it better.
