thanx timmy, i have got my hands on a hassy and i did shoot it with velvia but i got it scanned at the only place in geelong that i could find to see how they would scan it. it was the shittest scan. lost all color saturation. i'll never go back there again. i'll re-post it when i get it done in melbs cheers

dont use on board flash. tripod +longer exposure and higher aperture weird spot that you focused on, try the wheel as main focus point
