what do you use to convert to BW fetus? they look pretty muddy...likin the concept of the first and 3rd, 3rd is favourite though...so yeh, i took some photos for once...

I just bring the satch down in hue/sat in photoshop... sometimes I leave a tiny bit of colour in there or colourize it a bit... is that what you mean? Maybe I'll lay off it a bit.
Those ones above are pretty cool, the steps one makes a funny fisheye illusion lol. I havn't really whipped out my camera in public much which is maybe why I like the first and 3rd ones of yours most. Don't people get bothered when you're taking photos of them? or do you just be sniper

google up different ways to convert to black and white, if you have CS3 there is the black and white tool, but also look into stuff like channel mixer and that, the quality of the conversion iwll be way higher than just turning the saturation down.
As far as people caring about photos, most of them don't even notice. I do get the occasional dirty look but nothing bad yet.
