Dunno how many ppl have seen he Laid DVD but he rides this board with a hydrafin or something under a surfboard that is mega long and makes it possible to actually surf above the water. These guys today had one of them boards

there wack, they have a fin aobut 80cm long on the bottom which sort of looks like this...

hahaha, anywhom, it some how keeps the board afloat above the water, keeps board from contacting water surface so u just cut thru it! Technically, u only need swell to ride, not even a breaking wave!!
