they do have some pretty anti-competitive business practices which are a bit questionable but these kind of things shouldnt be discussed on the internet...

why is dailies toy peter? is it because they dont offer the amazing range of basketball jerseys that other stores do...? the thing is peter people complain that dailies doesnt have this or the other but when they get something thats rad in, no skaters ever buy it...
the vast majority of skaters only buy maybe 2 pairs of jeans and a few t-shirts a year and a hoodie as well.... so most of the time you'll find that the awesome stuff that you wanted them to get in sits there on the racks...

I think the hardware cant be beaten... how much selection do you have when getting a board or a pair of trucks or wheels? there is so much to choose from plus you can order shit in if they dont have it... there are so many shoes on the wall... plus you can order in any shoe you want provided the company has them in stock...
the clothes aim to please everyone... you cant just have a shop with size 36 jeans and XL white t-shirts cos that just isnt viable as a business... you need choice so that there is something for everybody... and yes alot of the stuff isnt my style so i dont touch it but a bit of it is and thats what i get...
and mark you cant please everyone... but skaters like you and peter should be supporting skate stores like dailies because without them you may not have picked up a skateboard or gotten as far as you have today...
do all these other stores do as much for skateboarding and skateboarders like dailies does? i dont think so...
the demos, the comps, the loyalty card sales are just to name a few...
so before you say dailies is toy have a think about what theyve done and are doing for skateboarding...

Some may ask where i've been lately! Pretty much, i didn't like what skating had become for me. Instead of me rolling around, skating the spots i wanted to, i was driving around like a taxi service and barely skating. whilst that may be part of the "job" as a 'skate photographer', the fun wore out quick and i found myself not enjoying skating. Hence, i guess i've gone a bit under the radar as of late, skating parks and jibs and not taking it to serious! i'll be out on the weekend, skating some spots if your keen to join me.

u most probably aren't interested, but if u were then there's your answer!
