Hi everyone, unfortunately the Hubba comp has been called of due to reasons beyond our control.

Even more unfortunate is that Skate Fx has been temporarily closed down by the council, due to fire safety issues (smoke detectors , fire safety regulations etc).

Until Beau and Charmaine can raise the money to have everything fixed professionally there will be no Skate Fx. We hope to do some fund raising
events to help raise the money needed and I will keep posting here anything related to those events or what is happening out there.

Any support during this time is appreciated. I'm sure probably everyone who has been there has skated for free at one time or another (Wed night skates). I'm sure a lot of you also know how much Beau and Char do for everyone and how loving and giving they are.

If anyone knows someone involved in fire safety regulations or products in regards to buildings and that would be kind enough to help out in any way, that would be incredibly helpful.

Hopefully this is short lived as I'm sure everyone wants to see them back up and operating again. Beau and Char are great people and Skate Fx has been a major part of Adelaide skateboarding for longer than I can remember.
