i stick with this.. would you buy emerica shoes if they released a pro model of some kid who rips on a scooter and marketed it solely to scooter kids. or would u ride a toy machine board if they suddenly released a toy machine scooter. granted they would be the same people selling the boards and working behind the scenes. but half the reason i dont head out too parks and skate as often as before is i cant stand dealing with these little pieces of shit riding around the place.

For years this dude was a pillar of the scene - adapt, love dogs, comps etc etc. He hooked crew up, gave us all a place to chill and put his money/name on the line. granted those things never really worked out but he gave it a shot and with all due respect to you and others it's alot more than alot of people have done. If you wanna make a difference and have your voice heard in a forum that will lead to change there's little point doing it on here to the 20 or so forum lurkers. Gor may not be the model straight edge citizen, but respect where respects due. If he wants to smoke weed there's no point making it an issue. It ain't affecting your or my life. Never forget the people that have made it what it is, even if it is a small ripple in a big pond.

With regards to the MV2 thing i too had that core shop opinion but in reality it's near impossible to do when you're in Adelaide. It certainly isn't the ideal situation but without the extra cash that these machines of evil generate it's unlikely they would be able to provide the same level of service to the skaters down south through sponsorships/demos/events/comps etc. Yes they're somewhat encouraging scootering? (i don't know the correct term) but the bigger picture is what its about. I'd much rather spend my money in a store that is at the very least run by skaters with dudes serving you who are skaters than buying stuff off a faceless entity like ccs who do more damage to skate stores by buying in bulk and offering discounted prices.

Lets just all have some respect for each other regardless of this and that and think for a second.

as far as MV2. nahh fuck that , its still pathetic. really they dont make enough money off shitty billabong designs that are recycled every 2 years, or they dont make enough money of all the shitty UNIT gear or them gay as fuck UFC clothing that theyre hard strapped and need to put scooters on there walls. Didnt say they dont put on comps and support kids around that side of town. But supporting kids who ride scooters for a few years until they realise how pointless and stupid they look and partying is way cooler then where are those kids going? Certainly not down the park to ride a skateboard or ride bikes or something else. Its a stupid fucking trend. And MV2 are cashing in on it.
