the park looks fun regardless and im sure that scooters will like it which will account for most of those who will ride it. this pete young cunt seems to have built a fair few fucked tranny parks that tranny skaters nor street skaters actually ride. hopefully this doesn't turn out to be one of them.
im pumped that somethings happening in adelaide, just wish things like this were given the attention they deserve to make the most of them.

Salisbury, Pooraka and correct me if I'm wrong but pretty confident that he also designed Elizabeth, Nuriootpa and maybe Grove (guessing because it's in the north)
every single one of those parks is either poorly built, has fucking retarded transitions, have pointless obstacles that arent fun too skate or are just dangerous for no reason and have some of the least flow u will ever find in a skatepark. theyre all just 90's skateparks. nothing about them is taking a step forward when it comes to creativity, and it might be me, or the fact there all in the north where shit is rough but the concrete on them all seems really rough nowdays, compared to parks like town thats still smooth and slippery i guess you could say. when u bail at grove u feel it. at town park u can atleast slide a little bit. i hope u get what i mean
grove is the best out of them all, and there is nothing creative at that skatepark, dont get me wrong ive spent alot of years skating there, but its basically a square with a bunch of token ledges rails and blocks, its just simple boring and unorigonal.
i understand what you mean about the rough ground. it says smooth concrete on the design picture tho.

after looking at the plans for a while its pretty clear that 'plan' is just a real rough proposal. scale is way out, heights of cross sections don't add up compared to birds eye view etc. so hopefully its a bit different to what the plans show.
not all council built parks tranny and crete' suck, semaphore is smooth as and pretty mellow but still fun. constructions already started so we can't do much more than watch it get built and hope for the best.
really wish councils got more skater input but. how hard is it to find skateboard.com.au or make a facebook page to advertise for a meeting.

The 'Terraced Ledges' look alright (as a single obstacle, i only glanced at the plans so no clue on flow of them), would be sweet to have a Euro on one side of it, similar to Knox in Melbourne in a way.
