joe's garage had me listen to it the first few times just because i wanted to follow the story again and hear the bits i missed/didn't understand the first time... and then it's got you and you know the bits and you like it.

ahhh you see, i got this tiny mp3 player i use and am happy to get by with. About a year ago it got stepped on so the ink bleed across the screen prevents me from ever knowing the name of things... I just remember how to on/off/play/skip/volume etc. which helps anyway as i can do it in my pocket without taking out the ugly thing with a battery hanging out hahaha.

i don't know much tom waites but i really like some songs like emotional weather report and step right up.
sheik yerbouti is the greatest. the whole thing flows so perfectly. so easy to listen to such a long thing. I like the zappa stuff as I can put it on and know i got something good in my ears for the next hour of work.
