Nah the dude knows his shit - he runs the show down at the foreshore of darling harbour - all the lights, power points and all things electrical come back to him.
Yeah he's always pushing his luck with the mrs, so once a week or so he just has to follow her orders to give himself a bit of room to work with for the rest of the week haha.
It'd cost me a minimum couple of hundred to get it done at an authorised Fender shop, and I don't have that to spare at the moment.
Had a quick bash at that solo last night though (just plugging direct from a little zoom multi effects thingo) and got the idea sorted. Bit of Slash-type blues/rock at the start, builds into some tapping, then a little wang bar action. Done the vocals too. Keen to get guitar done though so's I can hear the finished product.

Yeah I been trying to get him to put a tune or two on internecks. (The same guy that's fixing the amp has brought his lappy over a few times to burn tracks onto cd for me). But I dunno if he's not allowed to use his mrs's's account or something - it's her lappy. Fucken when we put songs on the lappy the default is for her name to come up as author/artist!

Oh yeah - knee's still no good. I woke up one time last night just thinking "fuck that hurts!" Must have slept with it in the wrong position. Maybe next weekend...

Fucken spewing!! I only need like half an hour to do all the guitars for the current song then I can move onto the next one. Doing the guitars tomorrow means I won't be feeling the vibe for another song until next week fucken. I prefer to do the drums on the weekend, and I like a day or two of the sing in my head before I have a hit at the drums.

Fuck oath it has! It was a little dodgy, but still usable, before he first tried to fix it. Now it's been completely out of action for two weeks. To make it worse, I haven't been able to skate for about three weeks, and recording is what I usually do to fill the middle of the day when everyone else is off skating. I'm gonna ring him again tonight and "oh maaaan I really neeeeed my aaaaamp...."

ahhh i forgot that ya cant skate, how long til ya can be back on board?...fucken harsh ya can't record or skate. ring indeed. if that fails go have a good 'ol gamble while others are skating haha

That's mighty tempting. Cash is flying out pretty quick these days though - still haven't sorted out a flatmate so my rent's a bit high. I've kinda quit the pokies. Not that I really played them heaps, but yeah I just don't these days. Proabably haven't played one for a good 3-4 months.

Hoping to be able to have a roll next weekend, but I'll wait and see how it feels - with a knee it only takes a little run out bail on the tranny to set it back another month or something, so I wanna go easy on it, give it a good chance to recover.
Actually one of the other fella's done his knee last week - he went to the doc and got told 4-6 weeks, so I might just give him a buzz and get our drink on.

When I got up this morning my screen had a different pic and shit and I was freaking out 'cause my head was still a bit washy and I wasn't too sure what was going on hahaha it said "lights only" on the screen and I still dunno what the fuck that's supposed to mean hahaha
