RE: MOEY'S THREAD park is going in right next to the cricket clubrooms, cold drinks, shade, large deck and dog parking.

Hi Marv

Firstly thanks for actually being the one to put your neck on the line and do some work and be open for feedback.

Here is some for the latest design.

I think it will be very cramped is some areas.
I don't think you need 3 down rails of similar proportions.
Think more about your lines. With your banks/taco in the street section think about how you are going to get to them and where they are going to pitch you to.

Does the area provided really need to be square?

not to be negative about everything but that is alot like taroona and a whole heap of other parks in tassie mixed together..... try something completely different... opposite of all the others

RE: MOEY'S THREAD ok spent 3 mins so you werent the only one putting your neck out...

here is a small budget street park idea...I hope it makes sence, eveything is very small or mellow

contains..

bank to jersey
bank to slappy ledge
pump bump hump or mini volcano
good sized manny pad
grass gap
small long ledge hittabel from manny or over grass gap
small to medium upledge
little quarters (with channel and little tombstone) normal height of 3 foot maybe a little tighter than normal so you can still smith/pop your ollies

tried to make it simple, incorporate good fun forever elements but not too cramped..

...unfortunately we are locked into the square - currently using all the site we've been given. Pretty shafted actually.

yes, will be tight in spots, agreed. Taco hit = easy from one side, bit tricky from another... Hard to fully appreciate scale - corner pyramid is 1.4m high, big flat bank is 1.6m high. Three rails are quite different - a really mellow one, a 'standard', and the scary one down the big bank.... will keep working on it.

Brain hurts.

Where in Rosny? I don't think the bridgewater one is a good idea(not much skating up that way). And the less quarterpipes/bowls the better, that is all.

http://skateboard.com.au/v2/index.cfm?smithgrind=view&id=1208 this park is so shit, it's awesome. perfect flat bars, grind boxes, sketchy hips. legit tram barrier and red fire hydrant. definitely a budget park but it's great because there's run up and landing for everything.

RE: MOEY'S THREAD Hello Bitches...only have time for a sketch today. Simplified version of yesterdays image.

Speedlines into almost everything... manual pad on platform may need small up/down ramps on right hand edge so you don't always have to ollie on for the hit on the Hubba. Couple of other tweeks... before an image after the weekend.

...Thats a pretty big bank (about 9-stair) - most of those just don't fit. A toombstone or something similar might.

...will have a play around and see what comes.

...how about replacing the single, smaller down ledge with one of these. I reckon the other bank is too big and the through zone not wide enough to accomodate that setup.

or put one othose down trannies @ each spot.
