Theres a few funky additions happening as they go (the crew are all skaters). Pool coping is for a bowled out steep tranny pocket in the Mogul area.

Hey Sam - I heard rumours of the new Glenorchy park is to be demolished due to building developments etc - is Tolosa going to be regarded as the replacement or is there chance of another park being built in the area?
P.s - Lights at Tolosa would be incredible, when you work full time skateboarding is near non exsistant in winter
More park's like Tolosa will really push the future of Tasmanian skateboarding - non generic parks are the key to keeping already exsisting skaters & the new kids interested, I also imagine we will see a lot of progression & change of styles with the new features of the park! Exciting stuff - Sam you are killing it!

Full cred to the guys building it... some really good changes are being made along the way. Being skaters they know what looks and feels good, even at the finest detail.... like the shape of that curb for example. Sort of like it was drawn on the plan, but so much better.

Had a budget for this job for this year - it is a 'street safety track' or 'street skills park'. defenitely not a skatepark. defenitely not.
The Glenorchy park is almost certain for demolition, and we have requested $250,000 compensation. I've put a budget bid in for an additional $200,000 from Council. Site would be next to the railway line - between KGV oval and YMCA Building - Central Glenorchy.... just off the bike track. Park would be built next financial year most likely (this time next year?). Just hope it all comes together.
'street safety track' or 'street skills park' - Does this mean the council are going to be well pissed when they see all the caked wax and worn ledges or is the facility considered skate friendly? Haha imagine if they capped everything haha

the internet and sarcasim don't really work together so great & I can't tell if your being serious or not - but if your serious your saying there a chance we will get kicked out if we try skate it? Skateboarders need to learn the road rules too!

The park looks like its gonna be fun, it is about damn time they put some skaters behind the shovels in Tas.. It is good to know that it will feel good to roll on. Keep up the good work guys, seriously appreciate your work!

Went out and had a look yesterday & the concrete is rad! not that super slippery shit most of the late Melbourne parks are made with (Glenorchy also) what's been built already looks amazingly fun! A few of my buddies from Vans mentioned they are planning on coming down for a demo when it opens - will be fucking rad!

I won't lie, I was there today and felt the crete, got told off for takin a step in there.. It looks unbelievable! wet my pants.. can't wait for it to be done eh.
