Ghostface, I wore these to Buller the other day but they're too small as I need 11.5. Worn once.
RRP $350 in Aus.
Will sell for $200 plus post
I need help.
Mammoth Mountain for a week at the end of March next year (21st-28th)
or
Japan for 3 weeks in Feb (1st-20th)
I've already been to Japan but am I guaranteed snow at Mammoth in March?

BURTON HAILS, US 11 for $200
RRP $350, worn once but they're too small.
Womble, go in Jan or Feb if you want guaranteed snow. That's why deals are cheaper in March. Try Jetstar or Mint tours
hey lads,
im heading to japan mid november and want to get a week of snowboarding in. i've never been to japan but want to know what in your opinions would be the best spot for a week of boarding plus chilling and drinking beers. and a rough estimate of how much cash i'll need for the week with lift pass, board hire, accom, etc.
i haven't been arsed doing any research yet just wanted to know what you fellas thought since a bunch of you seem to hit up japan a bit.
thank you
When in November?
Your best bet would probs be Niseko for that time of year, though no guarantees (kinda like asking where you can go skiing in Aus in April)...
Owashi lodge is cheap & nasty but >1min walk to the closest lift & 500kr in the basement bar. They also have a kitchen & only 2min walk to the supermarket.
That being said, if you're just bumming around Tokyo area of Japan, you'll have to fly there at ~$300 return from Narita minimum.
damn i kinda thought there would be decent snow that time of the year. somewhere close to tokyo would be good, although i wouldn't have thought the train would take that long to go anywhere in japan. might just sus it out when i get there
I think you greatly overestimate the Japanese public transport system and/or the size of the country...
It's going to take you at least 2.5-3 hours to get anywhere skiable

http://www.powderhounds.com/Japan/Honshu/Tokyo.aspxI've only been to hakuba & Nozawa onsen on that list & I really don't think there's much snow there in November. According to ski japan it's a risk going in December.

I'm based at Perisher for the season.. Everything was going great until it rained today..
This was all snow:
New Zealand is pretty good at the moment. Cheap flights over here too. Get it.
