If the 18 events drawn from 5 different sports (Baseball/Softball, Karate, Skateboard, Sport Climbing and Surfing) are formally approved at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session to be held in Rio de Janeiro in August 2016, these will became official events of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic programme."

That being said I would be happy to see an olympic game of skate, but sadly I dont think it will happen...
