Pretty sure it's the March 2000 issue with a Jeremy Wray roof gap tailslide cover. Paul Sharpe pic run as editorial and Rickoo run as a Girl ad inside back cover. The shots are from really different angles but its clearly the same spot.

My theory is that the Girl ad was submitted as a last minute thing and no-one realised at the time there was already a shot of the same trick at the same spot already in the mag.

Hmmm definitely not who I was thinking of but that could totally be possible given that TNT's ads are usually park shots.

But the ad I am thinking of is pretty old now, and definitely isn't a Vans ad. Both the skater and the shoe co are reasonably obscure.

Definitely remember some Gersh Globe ads shot at parks but can't think of one at Wollongong.

This is a pretty tough one - the shoe co is more obscure than Kastel which gives you an idea.

I'm gonna give up the shoe co, maybe that will help. It was NSS shoes (Nice Skate Shoes or something like that?). Another clue - the skater is from the east coast of the US.
