Why this park sucks.. 1. Block that is about the same length as a board 2.You virtually land in grass when you come off flatbar 3.Lumpy concrete at bottom of pyramids 4.Weird tranny (at least it's not kinked tho ) 5.Coping on small wave is almost non existant Sucks when your local park turns out like this, just my personal opinon-some people like it.
This is my local park. I remember the wide eyed excitement i felt when i heard it was finally going ahead. Upon first viewing, i was very dissapointed. The transitions are average, and the obstacles are placed with little thought as to lines. That being said, i really enjoy myself when i skate here. Bad construction can be just another challenge. The park is not exactly a must skate for most. Try the new boxhill park instead.
the ledge down the box is too low they made it so its almost impossible for goofy people to do fs tricks down the ledge coping on most ramps is screwed hips are painted and too slippery to use
this placed was my local. it had sooooooo much potential when it was in the planning and design stage, but somewhere it took a wrong turn. i remember going to the meetings about the park thinking it'd be mad. but it turned out kinda shite. not all bad though, is alright just to fuck around in.
Everyone go to Phoenix park instead.. OG phoenix park reppin haha
even though every hates this park. Its my local and i love it. It's fun once you learn how to skate the "mini ramp" and the fun box. i dont see how !!!steve!! hates it so much when he skates there nearly everyday.
it is pretty shit, it was sposed to be alot bigger and alot of the design was changed to suit bladers and bmxers, its not a great design for a skatepark, exspecially the hips
A dissapointing end to what have been a great park- as the others have said theres so much wrong with this park its not funny..
they need new coping on all the ramps except the big wave and the pyramid, coping is vertually non existant
The parks pretty average. if u really want to skate it stay at the novotel on springvale road. its near a skateshop and not very far from the park.
yeh and theres this kid at my skool in yr 7 and hes really gay and he wears pads

My local park and i hate and love it it is some some fun but dont skate it every day itill piss u off so bad and youl constanly stress about how fucked up the park is and be like "FUCK I CANT SKATE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS FUCKED UP" so in conclusion skate this park in moderation

i skate here sometimes when i come to melbourne, its kinda gay.... but its still fun in a small sesh, if i stay htere for a while i get real bored.
this used to be my local, i can't skate that park, its too weird
well theyve made improvments with the coping and stuff and its pretty good now
worst place on earth

its not THAT bad, its got a real ghetto feel but thats what makes it fun and challenging

i skate at this park sometimes when i go to my mates house. it is fun skatepark but there are too many slopes and banks. good for if you are learning to drop in because there are a variety of different sized ramps.
on the slopes there is so much graffiti that its like impossible to walk up.

My local... You just don't even bother with the shit days.. On a qp theres a good inch gap between the cement and rusted coping ...
i remember skating this park when it first opened armed with a broom to sweep up all the shit. agree its not a great park but shit we had some fun down there. skated it almost everyday for about 12 months. met some great dudes down there that made it awesome. now its not the same everytime i go back.
9/11/13... Not great. not really bad. Its a bit cramped. No half pipe section at all. Better than nothing.
