Mackay Skate Park

Okay - the park goes like this: it's a 7 foot half pipe which kinks into a 7 foot bowl , the coping is sketchy , there are two big flat banks one steeper then the other. One flat bank has a grinder box on the top of while the steeper bank has one and a half foot square bar kink hand rail which is quite rad. Then there is a fun box with two sides being flat and the other two being transitions - also has a little rail. Thanks to Simon for supplying the pics and doing the review. (ps thats him doing the beni-hana)

i rember skateing at mackay when i was learning to 50-50 .. i'm pretty sure there is a new better park up there but if anything go to this park to check out the graf in thebowl usually it/they are pretty good.. and from memory the mackay city library has some ledges and stuff but i havn't been home for awhile
good place to warm up before goin all out, new park is in the progress, see also slade point, walkeston and mount pleasent shopping centre carpark!

nah 5 now...including bucasia, milton street (the new one), walkeston, slade point and this one

i often scoot at this park very good some very talented scooterers scoot there.
porters,mrael,spotlight,hsc,north primary and high school, chandlers out back of canelands so many good streets spot
this park use to be sic it use to be only skaters and if bikers came they would never get to go cus they get snaked but more skaters got slack and then bikers dominated this park and cut down the massive rail on the bank fuking hate those biker cunts
is there a new park open in mackay?
this is amckays first park. despite the doggyness of the park it is fun to do flyouts.

yeh shift 64 thats sounds like a great idea.. ill bring my scooter = :D Bit of rain and this park has a river running through it between the tranny and flat.. pretty much right where the fun box is
