The Gap Bowls (New 2004)

Where the old Gap park / bowls were, there is a completely new setup as the old park was ripped up and a combo bowl setup was just put in June 2004. It is good to see some new bowls with little "beginner" areas which Brisbane has been known for in the past. This is a fairly tight, very fast park, with the main bowl being right on the BCC limit of 2 m height, fairly long as a capsule end and some vert in areas of it. The smaller bowl is more mellow but still a lot of fun and a good challenge for all. Beware of the tree mess that ends up in the bowls, so take a broom and clean it out before having a roll. There is also a curved block and little bank up to the fence for all your street variances. This park would have a 5 star rating hands down, but as there is minimal street, it only gets 4 - still a ripper of a park though.

This is a must for anyone who likes fast bowls and knows how to carve. The little bowl is fun, but the big bowl is made to be shralped. You can get some serious speed in this park, so watch out for other skaters as you have no vision when transferring from bowl to bowl. Take a broom and say hi to the everpresent lurkers who smoke ciggies under the shaded area.
not much here for the street peops cool little curved block and the wallride/bank is hella good
this is my home park and i dont much care for it. theres not enuff street and the bowls transition is to tight. but i guess its good for those narly vert dogs.
p.s. Lazlo_Panaflex is right. watch out for those chain smoking bowl rats.

Watch your back. WHen you least expect it a gumnut will jump out at you and you will be eating concrete.

gap bowl is sick good 4 skaters n bikers. small bowl is gud 4 skaters aswell as bikers big bowl more 4 bikers. since the bowl opened i can 360 and disaster... park is mad com visit

This is a top bowl Its my local concrete and if im not there im hittin nurses or bankstreet reserve. The small part is great for begginer bmx and skaters and for the experienced guyz who are in for a weekend sesh, the big half is good for heigh and speed, buddini was gettin sum nice air on monday
