Toowoomba CBD Skate Park

Situated in a fairly small park beside the main roads (Hume St and cnr of Chalk Dr) this place is easy enough to see from the road and surrounding areas. The car park does cost to park (about 20 cents an hour last checked) so take some small change with you when you go there. There is a fair bit of free parking further down the street if you don't want to spend all your lunch money. It is close enough to the main shop and business centre, (including a decent skate shop) and everything else is right there from what I can recall. Even some decent street terrain...
The main attraction is a rather large metal mini ramp (7ft) with some nice matching extensions (8ft) at one end. It is separated from the concrete street area by a banked seating arrangement which forms the back of the big quarter that faces a bank box and then the bowl at the end. Other features include a spine, grind box with ajustable height, other bank to box grind rail arrangements and some simple but fun concrete structures that you will have to go see for yourself to understand fully.

the adjustables are gone now guys, they've got a sweet ass boardslide rail, heaps gud for noseslides thought, and i high box thats fucking crazeeeeeeeee, not a grand park though, gets heaps boring

we got a few parks in toowoomba.. theres only 2 worth sk8in.. this one and wilsonton.. its a new park and its pretty sweet.. then theres also some pretty mad parks around the area. But yeah when ya move here let us no and we'll catch up and go for a mad skate
Ok sounds good, Its going to be hard to move from cairns cause we are getting a new park with stairs(3,5,7,9,10) and bowls(11ft, 13ft) on it also i might suck a bit cause i only been skating for a year and can only flip a 3:(.

hmmmmmmm this park is good but i dont like the location it should be on a mountain in toowoomba of course and they should re new the pics but i give it 4 mufs out of five and my own personal hooray
So everyone knows the mini is actually 6' with a 7' extension (not 7' with 8' extension like it says) and the coping is kinda chatted up. The mini is still prolly the funnest part of the park though. Also if you're gonna try the 7 rail up to the small bowl bit people break ankles on it (i.e. me)

mad park its had an upgrade new banks and rails wish it had more quarters decent shade, parks and seating can get super busy at times so early morning and late arvos are best, be gud if had decent lighting as its cooler to skate at night in hot summer sessions!
