yeh don't think this is really the place for that kind of insensitive shit. some of the dudes on here, ie large maori blokes, are mates of Ali's and probably don't find the way you worded your opinion too cool
Aatheoxx11 Mar 2010

Does it really fucking matter

He made a mistake, he paid a price

I'm quite sure that ali is a stronger person for this, and frankly.. i doubt he gives a flying fuck as to the opinions of people who either A. dont know him, B. dont really know what actually happened C. didnt give a fuck about whilst he was in prison or D. DIDNT KNOW SHANE!

Again i hope he is a stronger person, an that he does moves on and it would be great to see him possibly make a comback...

there are worse things in the world than this... like Anna bligh

Oh I herd some intresting news today, My friend Joel his brothers girlfriends dad was Ali's mental doctor when he was in the big house and he got him to write him a note saying "keep shreading Joel Ali" how cool is that!
UUrbexGecko11 Mar 2010
Can't see him quitting for good, you can see from his footage how much he loves being on board!
Kkrang11 Mar 2010
not to be the worlds biggest asshole but from his footage you could see how much he loved to drink and get totally fucked up and do stupid things.

but dont get me wrong here i hope all goes great for him personally i dont think it matters if anyone from the skate public ever sees him again his propper friends will have his back.

It's a discussion forum. People shouldn't be censored. Everybody should be free to say whatever they bloody want.

Look, it was an accident. Ali has served his time. Is this suddenly the Herald-Sun readers forum? Ali has served his time and I hope to see him shredding again. All the best to him.
DDeathMoth11 Mar 2010
"It's a discussion forum. People shouldn't be censored"

so you're saying it would be ok for some cockhead to turn up to a forum full of people who've lost a family member to lung cancer and start ranting about how it was their own fault for smoking, they did it to themselves, they heard the warnings but continued to poison themselves...they got what they deserved...

when it comes to serious business, and i'd consider Ali's case a pretty serious one, people probably should watch what they say, for no other reason than to be respectful to those who might actually be affiliated with the person the topic regards.
Aatheoxx11 Mar 2010
everyone has the right to there own opinion and the internet is an open forum where they should be free to voice that opinion..
FFAT COCK11 Mar 2010
He wont be allowed back to the states now will he? with their whole not letting convicted criminals in.

and if you wouldn't stand in front of one of Ali's friends and talk shit about his situation then why bother flexing your internet muscles.
Aatheoxx12 Mar 2010
i wouldnt go out of my way to put forward my point to them but if the topic was being discussed i would most certainly make my point heard..

and that is he was from what i understand drinking and was ignorant enough to let a good friend get on the bike and not think of his well being. and while it was an accident the point is it couldve very easily been avoided by using some common sense and not letting him on in the first place. its on thing to endanger ur own life but its another thing to put a good friend in harms way aswell. and for that he most certainly deserved the jail time, and the injuries he suffered will be a reminder for the rest of his life.

whats ur opinion on the drunken idiot that killed a car load of friends not long when he hit a tree..??
Kkrim12 Mar 2010
Just leave it dude.

Glad he's out and hope he's doing ok.
DDot Point12 Mar 2010
All of those who aren't open to debate are lesser individuals.

Deathmoth -

'and if you wouldn't stand in front of one of Ali's friends and talk shit about his situation then why bother flexing your internet muscles. '

Statements like this leave you wide open. Anyone who lives by this philosophy can only be a hypocrite and the way they live their lives will be seen as one huge contradiction.

Deathmoth, you lose.
Bbraddox12 Mar 2010
You wouldn't skateboard with only three wheels so why make rash opinions when you don't know most of the facts? Ignorance is not bliss and a tenous platform for argument.

Ali has done his time and I wish him all the very best.
Ddjsm12 Mar 2010
Today's analogy award goes to Braddox, fine imagery there... Well done! 10/10...

In other words, I agree 100%
DDot Point12 Mar 2010
'Ali has done his time and I wish him all the very best.'

he must be so honoured that he has the blessings of Braddox
YYahbrain12 Mar 2010
Braddox is right in this case.

People are better off taking a good hard look at their own life rather than judging others so harshly, especially if they don't know the people involved (knowing who they are isn't the same thing).

Everyone makes mistakes.

no one cares what you think dookie so don't bother making your points heard
