LLeevus Alone18 June 2009Just finished reading The Hungry Catapillar.
fuckin good as.
now write a 500 word essay about it
Strangely, I've read both those books... Not my proudest moment, but I was laughing so much, I had to keep reading them. Kind of like that car crash you know is happening but you can't look away.
LLeevus Alone18 June 2009Ginger Beer, pretty much anything by Vonnegut is pure manic genius.

Ron Swanson19 June 2009Hahahaha, The Toy In Daddy's Pants.
UUltimate Russ19 June 2009i'm going to amazon to search for those cat books
Dancing with Cats haha wow.
On a related note, Cats Cradle is one of Vonneguts best.
Midnights Children by Salman Rushdie is another one of my favourites. It also won the Bookers' Booker prize, which is kind of like being voted the best skater ever by past Skaters of the year.
Snowcrash, Neal Stephenson. All time fave.
Snowcrash is bolts indeed.

LDF19 June 2009The only book I've ever really read properly and liked was The Outsiders for school year ago.
Love it. And To Kill A Mocking Bird. Both sick.

Hey Yahbrain, ever read any Haruki Murakami? Pretty good writer worth checking out. Am reading Kafka on the Shore at the moment and quite enjoying it.

Ron Swanson19 June 2009Fuck yeah LDF, To Kill A Mockingbird is fucking sick. Been meaning to re-read that for a while now.

Fakes19 June 2009To kill a mockingbird gave me no useful facts on killing mockingbirds..
It did teach me not to judge a man based on the colour of his skin.
But what good does that do me?

Addo19 June 2009clockwork orange is sick... one of the best books i've read.
Matthew riley is so fucking terrible man, every book is like a bad action film scripts with the most basic obvious plot, filled with a cliffhanger every five minutes - "I hurtled towards the ground from 40,000 feet with no parachute and nothing but a spoon in my left pocket.........................................................................................but suddenly i was caught in a volcanic updraught and landed softly on the ground."
read The Road by Cormac Mcarthy, that's a book worth reading
agreed, I used to like Mathew Reilly in grade 6 and 7. So is fight club worth a read? I liked to movie.
i analized the movie in media 2 years ago and thought i knew everything about the story. read the book about 6 months ago and found out i was wrong, really good style of 'in depth' humurous style of writing... i recommend
