i played a slash signature les paul and it was really really nice. the duncans in it make it sound amazing.

belle, what kind of guitars do you have at the moment. sorry if you have already posted your setup.

Johno3498:

i don't know if someone has already said this but, instead of filing the nut, why don't you just adjust the action?
DDonut19 May 2009
well like i said before THE NUT IS TO HIGH

right from the the nut its really high then gets smaller as you go down the neck

i will get someone to set it up after i go through these strings i have on atm

need to set everything up really, truss rod action and the nut i will get a tech dude to sort it out
AAnitini19 May 2009
oh okay, my apology's. you see i was far too lazy to read through the posts.
DDonut19 May 2009
nar its cool dude

in the end i figured the job was to great for me and i have no time or patience for it so ill get a techy dude to sort it out for me
DDeathMoth19 May 2009
once you have a tech look after it then you can do your bit by maintaining it etc. that way you don't need to get set ups done again unless you're gunna change string gauge

HEY, FELLAZ!

got a question for you all.

i have a jackson ps2 performer and i havent played in about 2 weeks or so.anway, i went to play this morning and my strings were rattling like a babey having a fit.(holding mirakkaz of course)

anyway turnes out my neck has warped, probably due to the cold morning and hot mid days..

so how do i get it back to normal? put my knee in the middle and pull up or clamp it gently over a few hours or so? HALP
Bbelle.19 May 2009
Holy crap tom. My ibanez warped this month too. DO NOT PUT KNEE TO GUITAR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
Clap it lightly in the morning or as early as possible whilst the weather is still cold, if you feel confident doing it. If not take it straight to your local dealer asap.
Also if you're keeping your guitar on the stand in the picture you sent me today... You should probably move it babe. It's in direct sunlight under a window? Which will not help at all.
Bbelle.19 May 2009
Oh, and to clamp it without pro help get a conditioner from your local store and apply it to the neck then clamp it down on a flat surface gently (obviously with strings removed)
Definitely do not clamp without the wood conditioning treatement shit. <3

My boyfriends dad just brought a brand new one, and I was in another world.

I really really want an electric banjo first. Haha!

Hey i posted this in the ads section but thought i would put it in here too considering its a guitar that i am selling

Its an Ibanez Gio Series GSZ120 silver

i originally payed $489 for it

has a few chips in the body, it also has a fret that has a chip in it that i will be getting fixed before the selling, but depending if someone wants to buy it and fix it let me know

its also missing the plastic pickup knob

it will also come with a standard ashton case that is worth $120 and is in perfect condition

Im lookin at around $300 or so for it, would be a great guitar for a beginner or someone looking to upgrade

if you want pics let me know
Bbelle.20 May 2009
Haha yeah I had a go on one yesterday and fell in love! Hell folk! Haha
The decent ones are waaaayy out of my budget right now though :(

I need some help. I bought a Zoom 'George Lynch' effects peddal last week.
And the preset effects are pretty chat, so i wanna know how to create my own presets?
Being shit at reading and stuff i dont wanna read the manual...
so any videos or something like that would be sweet.

A gibson les paul studio is something i am trying to get my hands on..A new amp would be nice too and maybe a nice dobro so i can play some lynyrd skynyrd...
Bbelle.22 May 2009
I learnt some new Spanish songs whilst having nothing to do in hospital.
I dub myself queen of the Spanish guitar on sk8parx.
I'm so amped. How pretty... Haha

Fiance is a singer and has got a 4 track korg PXR4 recorder. i was fiddeling around with it the other day then came accross how powerful it really is. I plugged in my guitar and came accross over 50 effects which can that be modified like another 1000 times. it was qauite amazing really for such a small thing to be so powerful and so easy to use. If u want something to record those little things with definately look into it.
Bbelle.22 May 2009
I just played my first song ever on my custom spanish guitar on the phone to tb. Apparently I've got skill, boys! :p
I was reading the music as I was playing, and holy shit, it reads as playing the notes on the twelfth fret!? I have no idea.
Ddave parker23 May 2009
Hey i have a question and was wondering if someone could give me some advice...Im thinking about buying a tremolo and a phaser pedal and i was considering either the Boss foot pedal for each or the Line 6 MM4 Modulation Modeler...I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on both of the products or just an opinion for either pedal...thanks
