Hmm, not sure that'd work with the 335's neck joint.

Very similar, but his looks like an RX10D.
Its a slightly cheaper model, different wood, pickups, and cable location.
Still a nice guitar though!!!!!!!

fitted some Joe Barden T-styles in my tele 2 weeks ago. wicked sound. completely noiseless. a bit more versatile than the vintage style pups that came standard
his wood is definately the same as yours ... the photo looks a bit decieving but yeah i dont doubt yours is better
I think they both have the same flamed maple top, but different body woods (alder in mine, basswood in his)
I wouldnt neccesarily say my woods better though (Steve Vai Jems can go for 5K + and they're basswood!)
Purely a preference thing, im actually a huge fan of basswood guitars.
I couldnt go past the genuine Seymour Duncan pickups and upgraded floyd though! Unfortunately I can't afford 30 guitars so need to make the few i can buy count haha!

I'm sick of buying shithouse cables. Anyone have any recomendations for good reliable, clear sounding cables?
mate i've often used planet waves and spectraflex and found them to be pretty good for cables in the mid price range. i've toured with them and had no issues.
other options i'd consider would be these bad boys http://www.lavacable.com/index.html take your pick....
another well known quality cable is George L

Splendid, thanks kindly for the recomendations!
Got home from 3 weeks of holidays, plugged in the jackson and thought the pickups were toast already, then plugged in the Archtop and the blazer and they both had the same ghastly signal. Changed cable and they all sound sweet!
Im just glad it was my cable, and not my amp, guitars!!!!

whenever i've got an issue with my gear first thing i check is the cable. its usually something to do with the cable
has anyone used one of the marshall pocket amps? worth getting?
transexual that guitar is hideous man...

every single one of those knobs except the one at the bottom is in the way and most likely pointless anyway. its a crap shape and probably sounds like crap.

Sepultura?
jack white is sick
I heard an album with 2 flaminco guitarists today at work busting out white stripes and metallics it was pretty mad think the artist was Gabriella y somethin, alsoi have an inane with a flyod rose tremelo floating bridge does anyone know an easy way to tune it? I tune it sometimes and the bridgemoves forward too much making the strings too far away from the fretboard
take the cover off the back of your guitar and give the springs a bit more tension. its a balancing act really. basically as you tighten the strings it will cause the bridge to raise....when you tighten the springs it will pull the bridge back down, hence making the strings tune higher and you will have to tune them back down which in turn again will make the bridge lower.
its trial and error until you learn how to set it up. but once its set up and provided you keep the same tuning and string gauge it will maintain its tuning really good.
if you can't do this take it to a tech with a new set of strings and tell him to set it up, then don't fuck with it when you get it back

Some guitars to look out for are the Squier classic vibe series. For the money you pay you get a freaking awesome guitar. I work in a music shop and i was playing through the fenders and i was told by one of the guys to try the Classic Vibe 60's Strat. Soooooo good. Would sounds heaps nicer with some different pickups but it was the nicest feeling strat ive ever played.
if it wasn't a double cutaway i'd show interest.
what model is it?
