What guitar rig?
DDeathMoth29 Aug 2008
he's problem talking about the computer program that creates "replications" of real amps and effects.

my guitar rig is awesome i don't need that rubbish nigga
DDregs29 Aug 2008
i love you dathy
MMr Fox29 Aug 2008
yucky!

Dimebag wah to Boss turbo overdrive. That'll do!

When I wanna get real fancy I plug in the guitar and amp too!
DDeathMoth29 Aug 2008
yeh bypassing the guitar sometimes has a real nice tone
MMr Fox29 Aug 2008
Yeah sometimes the guitar is too loud and you can't hear the pedals properly. I was jamming on this riif on the pedals the other day and it's like click click...click...shwwsh shwsh click clickclick...
(the shwwsh is the wah moving backwards and forwards LOL)

Went jb's today, mate bought some JCM series Marshall and ran it through a metal zone, brutal tones bra ! I'll be settling for a hot rod deluxe...if I can find one under 1000 bucks.
DDonut29 Aug 2008
i never use pedals, because i have good enough gear

all i need is a nice clean tone and distortion

DDonut29 Aug 2008
guitar rig is sweet if your into it,, im currently looking for the pro tools software so i can record riffs so i dont forget haha
DDeathMoth29 Aug 2008
your probably better off trying to find a cracked copy of cubase or nuendo. pro tools is hard to crack, and when they do its full of bugs.
DDonut30 Aug 2008
aww yep thanks man i think my mate cracked cubase so ill give that a go
DDeathMoth30 Aug 2008
cubase and nuendo have automatic delay compensation for vst's and unlimited tracks. way better than any pro tools rig you could get for less than $13000

Bought one of those line 6 tone ports things...don't really record much myself..but needed something budget to record shit in case I forget it.
DDeathMoth2 Sept 2008
tone port is a good cost effective way to get shit down just for memories and writing parts.

fools
just ordered a Seymour Invader to chuck in my gibson. can't wait. i think the pickup has the right curve to suit an sg and the right output to suit my endless desire to squeel
DDeathMoth9 Sept 2008
so i see no one gives a fuck about my new pickup :(
Sskelator.9 Sept 2008
obviously not it;s all about the hate thread now
HHearty and Hellish!9 Sept 2008
smoking tabacco bongs and all
MMr Fox10 Sept 2008
Whose model is the invader?
TThe Stuckey10 Sept 2008
Haven't checked up on this thread for ages, ive been so busy.

I'm saving up for an amp.
I'm looking for a nice rock/metal kinda thing, with good distorition, but also a nice clean tone, too. I'm willing to spend a bit on something i really like and reckon is worthwhile.
Who likes/dislikes stacks?

Adviiiiicee.

invader is just a standard model pickup. high out put, with a tight bottom and really nice low-mids. good for metal basically. the dudes in lamb of god use em and in my opinion they have one of the best sounds i've heard in ages...so that was as good as sold for me
