yeah im not too keen on the seppo covers or interviews really, romeros had about 5 interviews in Thrasher, skateboardmag, etc and id way rather see some unknown aussie battler getting coverage.

On the other hand, its something good to read and ill buy it none the less.

I agree that I would much rather see an aussie or a kiwi on the cover. But that drew guy has a good point, no need to boycott Slam.

great photos and super rad photographers, same goes for the mag editors, but if you aint friends with any them, you aint gonna get a photo run. its just a bro mag. do you ever wonder why its always full of blackbox riders and covers?... why not help a mate make a skate career. i know if i was in the position i would. just sucks for the unknown Aussie shredders that have been killin it for years.

I think cheeky hit it on the head. A friend of mine was down a while back, who certainly knows hes shit, and was saying how they have a deal with black box riders of 4 covers a year. I'm not saying its true, but if it is, its pretty interesting. I'm hoping someone can back me up on this...I highly doubt its some sort of secret if true, Im keen to know.
