garema place, canberra - i like to sit in the sun and watch the kids manual and nose manual across here, over and over. the girl in this picture wasn't doing much of that though. steps and ledges around here get grinded every day, and a couple of friends of mine got beat up bad by a gang of kids wearing wu-tang one night. i don't think those kids skated, though who knows. garema place has history - just ask any older canberra skater - and a great skate shop above the book and shoe stores. oh yeah that's shifty's
