first is better, but unfortunatly he's framed within the trees, if trees were'nt there would have been a much better photo.
and lurkers are extremely noticeable.
DOF makes up for the tree's and the lurkers aren't too distractive.
I don't mind the tree's as he doesn't get lost in them. Otherwise it would be bland - white skatepark & blue sky. The lurkers do suck, but there's not much you can do at a park.
Ha seems odd getting involved in a photo discussion. Some of you guy's would know more than me anyway. I'm just going on personal opinion.

some good tricks in there, you should save the footage, not much point in a 20 sec clip of everyones tricks at the same spot
just saw the new eS video, surprised to see cale actually had decently long part even if all the footage was over 2 years old, hope someone from adelaide got paid for filming some of the tricks, it had his 2 tricks from the daily grind video
