Adelaide skate scene is dope. everyone that comes from another state/country is hyped to come back because the skaters are friendly welcoming and hyped to have people there. But then you could complain about spots but who cares, skating shouldnt be about that. its about doing what you love with people you can have fun with. Not hammers and secret spots ect all that shit can eat a dick.

I skated ramp city last night over in Blackpool the locals there are fools, there are a couple of chillers but most just stare you down because its "their park," The old boys are sick though. woody who owns the skate shop is a top bloke.
but all in all Adelaide is the place to be. just because you don't like it as much gore, you only don't like it because its changed, but nothing last forever.

I recently moved to adelaide at the start of this year, and there's nothing but love for skating down here, you'll go to parks and dudes will be ripping hard.
FastA - clearly you are jaded and have nothing better to do.
The scene is so different now but I wouldn't say it was for the worse of Adelaide... Just have to adapt to changes and move on - and make it what you want it to be.
And now days it seem like there are a lot fewer crews then there were some years ago - which is good, people just float along with whoever now, together.
You can always compare it to the past, but don't live in it.
definitely different...i remember rocking up to grennys surrounded by like 20 skaters, head to red tiles which was being sessioned by like 10 cats then down to the city where digby would be slingin phat size 9 reefs out the back of his daihatsu for 30 clams .. heaps of the crew i originally started rollin with are still ripping now; and the ones that arent, well thats probably for the best because they kill it at being trendy now, which is dope coz they usually know more chicks than me.. ..so if by scene you mean heaps of skaters in the city you're right, but people are still skating and ripping harder then ever!
