in terms of snow experience you'll probably benefit from not knowing much before you go, because their snow quality and their mountains are so much better that you'll learn in a better way

i went up their with about 600 bucks man! u make money as ur up their easy as if u work for the lifts..like i said a few months back i went out every night but 4 nights in 3 months,,,,bought a new snowboard and all my food and shit when i was their and still profited about 2 grand after the season...good luck man!!! ill refer u in march when i get my accomodation letter in march ( i can refer 4 ppl for interviews).

also, bc is pretty good right now. not the most snow, but the park is good, and the weather is sunny and warm most days. makes u appreciate the unreal powder days more when they do come though!
also, tom, get on msn more. im keen to chat about hitting up mexico on one of those all inclusive packages at the en of the season! i was looking em up and like for all inclusive, 7 night, 4 star accom, al u can eat and drink, its like $1100cad!!!!
yeah man falls dont get back to u till like mid march or so! ive already got 1 room mate and another friend applying so we may have one spare spot in our room but ill have to wait and see ho wthat pans out! u can either buy a season car park which is like 200 bucks or so and park up at the village or u can get a free staff car pass and park down the bottom at the gates are... with the free staff pass id be careful but coz theirs no one down their so heaps of ppls cars got broken into at night last season...also the shuttle bussed dont go down their to pick u up unless they are called or u go get them to follow u down their....its pretty hard to explain. ud be better off paying the 200 and knowing that u can always get to ur car and its safe... yeah man il defs give u a referal....if u get a lifty job u automatically get staff accom...im driving up as well but my car will probs be full with me my girl and my friend cory from macedon whos applied as well so not sure yet man..its still early days!

ive got a landcruiser with chains, if i do get a job id be keen to take it up so i can still do groceries and shit and go home or into town when i want. also i can fit me +4 dudes with heaps of gear in the thing aswell (and drive it on red p's haha ask bibby haha), and its on gas so its super cheap..

yeah most ppl go down to mt beauty at the bottom of the hill to do their groceries about once a month or so

has anyone ridden any of these reverse camber or "v" rocker boards? eg. lib tech skate banana? do they go pretty good?

lol to my knowledge there is no "proper" way to fall.
however i would recommend avoiding falling on knees/hands.
most common snow based injry is knee or wrist.
when worse comes to worse i usually opt out n go for the ol'e face landing.
nothing can beat it. usually gives mates usmthign to laugh about too.
last season liek the day the resort i worked at closed we were riding out shitty park box that had like 5 metere run up of snow and 5 meter run off.
i ate shit doin tailpress-boardslide on the gap box
fell face first off the end of the last box landed in like 10 cm of absolute stush n procceded to slife for another 5 meteres onto the grass.
was fun
