any one here heard anything about the ride anthem boots?
looking into getting a pair but want to know what there like as ive only had burton boots

hey goofy, I have a pair of ride anthems at the moment
to be honest i am not overly happy with them. i brought them because i thought they were comfortable at the time, but thats just because they are so damn soft. they really are a entry level boot, and they will do you fine if you are at that level, but if you are progressing you definatly wanna dish out some more for something nicer.
apart from that i dont have any major qualms, they havnt fallen apart yet, keep my feet reletively warm, etc. but i will definatly be looking at replacing them soon.

umm as for the ride boots. i too herd they rrather shitty.


i picked up a pair of last seasons 32 lashed for 250 dollars

they r comfy as all fuck nice flex pattern and last a faIR while.
i bought a pair of 32's back in 07 and yeah probly wont buy any other brand from now on

i still wear some poor as burton boots from i think 06?? im planning on trying to never get another pair of boots until i really have to because i cant be hassled breaking them in. so therefor ill buy second hand boots if need.

dont get to soft a boot if your wanting to ride in park a fair bit, try get something with some stiff ness in it

yeah im hearing all resorts getting heavy snow from the 6th to the 10th?

that would be rad if we get snow next week! although snow watch hasnt predicted anything till the 15th...and snow watch is usually pretty spot on!

howd everyones opening weekends go?

i spent mine repairing Cat tracks for the groomers.

selwyn opened today. we have no snow but a forecasted dumping over the nextfew days.

on a high note the bar upstairsat selwyn was throwing out all their 08 stock and i scored two free cases. hopefully they are drinkable.

oh btw boys this year slewyn is offering a 29 dollar day park pass.


you can use the tbar to get up into our terrain park n jib your lil hearts away.

we r going to be going all out this season in design as we are trying to bring in alot of riders with our cheap park passes etc.


we have got a car body and a cable spool bonk planned out. aswell as a fair few new rails with a few setups like what you would find in the street etc just minus the stairs.

also a competition is in the works to promote selwyn snowfeilds and our terrain park
there is like hardwear n outwear prizes etc.
