we found two good pieces of coping, 2 tubes of liquid nails and a gun for the glue today at manny mania. such a pleasant find. what needs to be capped?

Not really yet, Wouldn't mind building a ledge on top of the bank at wollows but I have no idea how to concrete and what not. heaps keen though.

Oi Rees, if you want to sling me to coping ill hit Marty up and we could start building

We should make a day of it soon, I'm working all weekend but got Monday/ Tuesday off. real keen to get something going on there. Could gather up some cinder blocks and happy to chip in for concrete.

You're probably all in the loop for this but there's a planning meeting at Hordon Park this Saturday at 10am. They want to hold workshops and get young kids to design it.

Well there goes my hope for a good skatepark, considering who ever rocks up on the day gets to design it. Probably end with a full pipe and a ledge like fez.

Not sure about young kids designing the park. And it's in Berkeley. Wollongong need a cbd park

When they say 'kids' i reckon they mean local skaters, such as ourselves.

Im pretty sure your input would be welcome too reesy, show up on the day and have your say.

I'd also rather a park in Berkeley than no park at all.

I definitely agree with you asume. Everyone that wants any form of input should definitely be heading down on Saturday. Maybe even get Joey to put a sign up in his shop so people that don't use this forum can head down if they want?
