I used to live in Gatton when I was a youth :)
went there once when i was passing through on a camping trip. my advice to you all stay away unless you want to be bugged out of you brians by the hicks that call them selves locals. bloody imbreds.
hey i live in gatton, yeh there are quite a few bogans in this town but dont knock every1, there is a few of us who take our skating quite seriously so mabee u should come back and meet the new gen before u go sayin shit about us

This park is sooooooo fuckin sketch..... the best thing about it is the fact that there a shop right next to it so u dont have to go far for food and drink... the new one 200 metres away from this one however is fucking sick mad lil stair set and a sick lil handrail to go with it plus mad big spine and shit.... Its mad fun to skate....

I just moved to Gatton from Rocky. Shouts out to the R+R crew. The new park is a fun little setup for a town this size. Having said that. The invisible stairs that you don't know are there until ure on top of them is an extra special surprise for those first timers who don't stop to have a look at the park before trying it out :) With respect to the locals here in Gatton, the park seems to have a bunch of teens watching a few of their mates on the concrete but they seem friendly. Due to Gatton having the NRAVS campus of the University of Queensland nearby... Gatton has to be one of the only places on Earth that you can see an authentic Australian farmer complete with Akubra Hat, Ute and Cattle Dog at one moment and a group of international students wearing traditional dress and speaking their native tounge in the next moment... Cool thing.
this park shown is now demolished and a new park has been built the new park is a lot better than the old. also forrest hill has a park next to the tennis courts in palm av. its small but fun for hours.
the new one is way better theres alot of bikers there

I've lived in gatton for almost 2 years now and am getting a new board from an old friend yay. I wish the skatepark was closer to McKay Street lol bit of a walk. They should build another skatepark that's at the actual park just around the corner of McKay street (just behind the golf course).
