Kuraby Skate Park

Since being built, Kuraby skate park has been one of the most heavily sessioned parks in Brisbane, also hosting the most competitions and demos from touring teams.
The park itself is not overly large in size with many obsctacles covering the two levels of the park. The rim quarters reaching 6 - 7ft high run round the taller section and ending in a capsule bowl, with many hips, curved areas and joining banks in between. Other obstacles include the two low camel humps, the twin triangular banks, middle wallride / grind block combo, other banks and quarters of varying heights and assortment of rails.
There are toilets, drink tap and a shade shelter beside the park. A train station and carpark are close by, so all aspects of transport are covered.

cool park, cracks being fixed regurarly. bowls is fast and fun, the fun box rail is fixed. good times for all. fairly big also. there is 2 parts, lower part has a spine gap with rails running down them. you will see lots of fairly experienced people here as it has more ADVANCED obsticles.

kuraby is a woraby but a must visit park in the brisbane area.. its pretty much seen a poop load of action as it has been the demo park .. but all in all the place is fun heaps of lines close to the train what could be better .. and yes there are some sketchy charecters around but there at every park so who gives a shit

Only been there once and almost got mugged twice! heaps fun park but sketchy concrete with craks. in conclusion : good park, bad area.
C to the H to the A to the T park
Old Kuraby days were good, with the PHC, Cam and his crew... Seen a lot of good shit, and a lot of bad shit go down there. Old Bill was a bit on the edgy side though. Weird dude.
kubary is not a bad area at all and old bill is scik hed bring us mars bars and shit it rocked what happend too him ne way
i have been to this park 5 times and not once have i even had a bad word thown at me . Nothing wrong with the area .

Like Shep said kuraby was the good old days like when cam and all his boys ripped...now hes full into street still rippin..kuraby is a mad lil park so go check it out...

the park is pretty sick, you shouldn't have any problems if you go there with a mate or two, or if you're a 300kg tonga. but you will have to keep an eye over your stuff.
one of my fav parks wen u hit a day with little or none bikers. can ruin the the bottom section of the park. fun rail, banks, boxes. close to train station which is awesom

kuraby rocks, its like 5 minutes from my house, the little gangster kids are rad, funny little bastards, they do tricks for ciggerettes!! best times are during the week, arvos are busy and weekends are shitehouse, go skate it today!! tell them stencilguy sent you!!

this park is the best iv been there a few times and still i never get sick of the park it is so rad i recommend that every1 has to sk8 it once its one of the best parks out their!!!

Kuraby is my local and i've never seen or heard of bad stuff happening. Nobody gets their shit stolen or anything like that, everyone is just their to skate but their are wogs who hang around the traino and shop but they don't even come near the skatepark.
