haha enjoy PIG.. I wanna see some mobile phone bootleggings on youtube by 9am tomorrow.

Turned out I wouldnt be able to go anyhow, oldies are stayin with me just got back from O/S.

PPIG..27 Apr 2010
Nah, no mobile bootleggings for me.

Although if any ARE posted, that childish giggling you hear everytime he plays are me giggling away at his picking technique.

I mean, sure it works for him....but that has to cramp up yeh?

if he does requests.. ask him to drop his guitar down below his tits (groin level if possible) and see how hard he can shred there.

nothing more disturbing than seeing a shredder with their guitar hanging 6 inches from their chin. You wouldn't see slash looking like that kind of homo thats fosho.
Ssome Rad old goat27 Apr 2010
no Slash only looks homo when he is snorting coke of Axls butt cheeks
PPIG..27 Apr 2010
Well I've got to say, his guitar was slung pretty damn low last night.

Such an amazing player and a really funny and honest speaker.

Had a ball last night.

lol.. i just like to say i love my jcm 800 50 watt combo. The cunt is SO fucking loud.

was at practice last night at rehearsal studios, door was shut, the cunt who ran the place comes in after 10 minutes and asks if we could shut this other door inside the jam room as well (the main soundproofed door was already shut) because he could hear my guitar from the other side of the building... hahaha.. Marshall ftw.

Marty was such a ruler, so laid back. Awesome approach to music as a whole
FFetus29 Apr 2010
oh but too many stupid megadeth questions from the audience... fucken hell so many people need to get over it and obtain some common sense. Add patience to his list of qualities.

need more help with my floyd-rose, friends.

i took the whole bridge off for a minor repair and put it back on all good everything works fine, but, my strings seem lower, they get a mad buzz after about 9th fret like no noise at all except the same buzz.

do i just need to raise the strings?
Sshutdown1 May 2010
try pulling a spring out of the back, and making one or two of the other ones diagonal if that makes it too loose.

sounds like a spring tension difference, maybe you put the springs in differently to how they were originally?
Iinvisi2 May 2010
Thanks man I'll try it when I get hone
Iinvisi2 May 2010
I fixed it, the two bolts that hold the bridge into the body, I loosened both of them a few turns each

Wish I could make it out fetus! Hope you guys have a great show!
Love the idea of the meshed triggers.
Anyone interested in phrasing over shredding, there is a competition over at guitarnoize.com to win a micro flange pedal. Download the backing track and record a solo over it. It won't be judged on technical prowess, but phrasing and emotion. Considering trying to record an entry but have no way of recording at the moment!

Re-wired the electrics on my blazer yesterday.

Removed the 20 year old pots and 5way switch and also took the 'Phase Switch' out of the circuit.

New wiring + new pots + new tone cap has made a HUGE difference to the tone of the guitar.

Also found out that the guitar's routed for Humbucker, Single coil humbucker.

My pickguard is 3 single coils, but Im now buying a blank pickguard, and will cut it and set it up for 2 humbuckers.

I'll install a clip for the earth and will just be able to take the strings off, unscrew the single coil pickguard, screw in the humbucker pickguard.

Pretty psyched.
Sshutdown17 May 2010
far out pig, you got balls man.. im too pussy to even replace the crackling / dodgy volume and tone pots in my eggle..

should hire you to do some work on it for me!
PPIG..17 May 2010
I could do work for you, but can't guarantee how good it'll turn out :P

I initially tried mirroring the existing wiring setup, but decided that I'd simplify the ridiculous circuit and got a circuit diagram form the Seymour Duncan Website.

Its an absolutely BRILLIANT site for diagrams.

Shouldnt be too hard shutdown, you could do it yourself no hassles. Just grab the pots you want, and solder them in the same places the old pots were. its like a 5 minute job
Sshutdown17 May 2010
hmm.. sounds dooable.. i can sorta solder ok.

so are all pots the same? do I need to write some shit down from the backs of the current ones to make sure i can get replacements right? Do you only buy them at music shops or would any old electronic shop ones do?
