iamMOSES i went to queenstown 2 years ago and stayed at reavers lodge it was epic. you are better off travelling into wanaka/cadrona if you have a car for mountains but queenstown is epic none the less. i recommend hitting up the gondola and going on the go kart type things, probably the closest you will get to playing mario kart in real life...

are the rooms good at reavers?
and is it heaps easy to get a shuttle to and from the slopes each day/night?

yeah the rooms are good plus there is a massive kitchen, bbq, spa and common room everyone can use. not sure what the public transport is like we hired a jucy car from christchurch and drove that around the whole time. nz is extremely similar to aus but just that little bit better haha enjoy man!

does anyone know if there is much of a difference between the sizes of DC and VANS snowboard boots?

i currently have size 10 DC boots, but they are way to short at the toe, thought of going up to a size 10.5 in vans boots but no one has that size, so im loking at getting size 11's, but worries these may be too big.

can you buy snow boot insoles if your boots are just that little to big?

if any one out there has any handy hints that would be super, cheers.

have u ridden you DC boots for long? if not i would just stick with them to break them in a bit....this will take more than acouple days a season in them. the last thing u want is big boots that are comfy at first then u break them in and then are far too big...its hard to say because all boot brands are different in size and shape but a general guide to go by is go a size/ half a size smaller than you normal shoe size...eg i have size 9 nike boots at the moment but am a size 10 in normal shoes. they will be uncomfy at first but after a few days riding them they will become comfier and you will be stiked on them in the long run....even wear your boots around the house a bit for like an hour a night and walk around in them and that will help a whole lot.
