Just like anywhere you get your good days and you get your bad days. The most accesible areas can get tracked out pretty quick but when it is on, it is on. I've been there days where the on-piste is like a back country run and have ridden knee deep freshies during night skiing (on piste of course). The first time I went it snowed the whole 7 days I was there and we were getting 30 -40cm every night. The last time (2 years ago) I got there late on the most epic day of the season then it didn't snow for nearly 3 days. That sucked because it is a kinda boring mountain when it isn't pow.

You will get more enjoyment out of th '63 in powder but it may be a bit of a pig in the park.
I would not recommend going to Nseko to ride park.

riding Vancouver's hills right now. im down for having downtown and being able to skate and ride at night underlights. so easy. good parks and it can get sick on a pow day.

The media team dc hires for their snow team always produce amazing shit. Biitner is so underrated its a joke... look at 0:25 on the indy 7 and how fucking 100% perfect it is

Depends on what kind of work you're looking for snap, most aus mountains are recruiting for the 2013 season right now and usually interview during march..
Had such a great time in Japan. 20-40cms everyday in Niseko. Had chest deep runs in Hakuba. People as a whole were outstanding. Made a trailer.

I'm in Big White, Canada doing the season here at the moment. I just rocked up to the mountain with some resume's and picked up a job in housekeeping heaps quick. Sounds kinda shit but it's not really bad at all. And everybody I met who was in the same boat as me managed to line up jobs quickly. I don't know how this compares to back home, but I'm told Hotham has a fair bit of work available. My best advice is not to worry too much, if you're serious about doing the season then you'll find something
