The IOC is surely afraid of drugs scandals and skateboarders getting drunk and trashing the Olympics. They have a right to be concerned.
But it would be cool to see Antwuan Dixon or Lizard King representing the USA alongside the usual cliched jocks. Won't happen though.

Silly idea but doesn't matter enough to really bother me, like street league and the berrics, just don't pay attention to it. it won't stop legit skaters doing their thang. Article reminded me of a 15 year old emo kid bumming out that other people are listening to his music. "don't they know we're happy to be considered degenerates?" -gay.
