Comic book guy picture that obstacle you posted but with wallieable face and sides on the ledge. Still the same uses but with more possibilities. Could be fun?

Watch this clip because it's rad but check the mini dwarf door obstacle. Could be a rad corner feature?

RE: Brunswick Skatepark 2013 The "path" needs some high speed hits too I reckon. A corner V shaped corner could have a boob on the entry and exit with one of these puppies. Check the mini one in the Eli Reed clip above too.

RE: Brunswick Skatepark 2013 Could make a wedge to wedge wallride, made out of the same perforated metal on the over vert bit of Werribee?

RE: Brunswick Skatepark 2013 Fuck yeah josh. I've read over the thread multiple times and everything is sounding rad and i'm especially keen on the mellow stoner park kickers, mini dwarf door and the flowy wally thing that you posted earlier(pictured). With CBG's corner ledge/bank idea with the wallyable sides/face i'm not sure if its just me or when the face is sloped i wig myself out too much on the ledge. I guess i should just man up and deal with it so either way +1 to that idea!

Noping heaven! ^

Thanks Sketty, it's great to have consensus on ideas.

I loaded everything on to my ipad for the meeting. Great tool for this kinda stuff. I'll let you know how it all goes.

So many good suggestions in this thread, just as long as there is room to push between particular obstacles, this should turn out to be a great skatepark.

Props Josh!

RE: Brunswick Skatepark 2013 Had a meet and greet yesterday with a few of the people involved. Alli from council, the designer Wade and some of the motivated younger crew who have taken the initiative to make this page, so go ahead and "like" it.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Build-a-skatepark-in-brunswick/187769921246633

Even though it will be a while off before proper consultation starts there is good stuff happening. Initial designs will be submitted to SRV (Sport and Rec Vic) for additional funds. There is currently around $400k allocated for 2013 financial year, so a further funding boost would be excellent.

Further awesome news is that the Parkour stage 2 of Fawkner has been relocated, so a stage 2 of Fawkner is go. I think the talks with the council people in regards to the Parkour for Fawkner stage 2 plans (in Alli's absence) took at least one year from my life expectancy. I can't stress the importance of what a legend Alli is as an advocate for our facilities. More awesome news is that a new park in Glenroy is in the masterplan for the next few years.

As you can see from my low light gopro snap the site is a decent size. The existing path can be improved and used for the path idea which will cut down on costs and still have a great outcome.

The site is in Clifton Park Brunswick

what we need is a mellow 5 stair with a round rail and hubbas like at explore the berrics but with the rail, someone said before that there is coburg and clifton hill but coburge is too big to learn tricks on and you cant learn tricks on the one in clifton hill either because its so steep that you only tap the end

it could also be made as a euro gap seeing as that is one of the thing that people seemed to want on the facebook page

I would say a euro with rail/hubba combo would be better than stairs as stairs kill flow and can always be replaced with a bank and serve the same purpose. 5 stair is fairly tiny, I don't see how you wouldn't just chink the end.

If that is what people want then sweet. I guess finding a few examples so it gets done right so it works

RE: Brunswick Skatepark 2013 Something like the 4 stair set-up in cairns is what I think he means.. but with a euro on one side of it?

yeah I meant bigger than that I was thinking kinda like the big handrail at belco but maybe a five or six stair instead but with thinner hubbas like at explore the berrics
