RE: Europe: R-R-Remix As at all great skate parties you were allowed to tear the furniture apart and skate it inside. When you ordered a vodka they just free poured into a cup until you said stop... so shit got pretty happening.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Street Beer: 80c Aus per 0.5l
Bar Beer: $1.50 to $2.50 Aus per 0,5l depending on area
Food: $4 Aus for a 30cm pizza

Sarajevo is quite out of the way but worth the visit. It has a lot to see outside of skating especially the destruction and rebuilding of the city from the city siege that happened around 1992-1995.

The skate scene here is tiny. If skater sees you walking around with your board they will come running over to say hi and invite you for a skate. Everyone was super positive and helpful. The streets can be quite rough but there are a lot of hidden spots that are gems.

Unfortunately the best spots are at government buildings that will get you into a lot of trouble for skating. You can't even shoot photos of the government buildings.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix One of the amazing government building spots. The police are apparently willing to take bribes though????

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix A lot of buildings still wear the scares from the siege. It is positive to see the city growing back to its former self and the skate scene growing with it. It is worth noting that Sarajevo had the winter Olympics in 1987 before the siege.... So it was severely stunted.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix This is the main Olympic building in the city centre. It is pretty much a crappy mall now and largely abandoned.

It is great to go have a beer, skate and chill at.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix We made our way up into the mountains to try and find the abandoned bobsled track I had read about. We got a taxi 10kms up into the mountains for less than $10 aus... Although the drivers english was minimal he offered to wait for an hour at the bottom to give us a ride back. We decided to walk in the end but Sarajevo must have the cheapest taxi drivers in Europe.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix This place was surreal. Overgrown by bushes, people having parties along the track, holes in the wall where snipers camped out during the siege and skateable...

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix This was a view from one of the many abandoned buildings that had been bombed. This was once a luxury hotel for the winter Olympics overlooking the city.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix As rough as it was I had much more fun here than I have at a lot of Australian skateparks. I am sure some out of touch people will come and propose a clover bowl here as well at some point ;)

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix Dubrovnik, Crotia
Everything is 3 times as expensive as any other part of Croatia. It's full of tourists coming to see where Game Of Thrones was filmed and die middle aged. I wouldn't strongly suggest not coming here for anything skate related. The beaches however are incredible.

RE: Europe: R-R-Remix Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain...)
Street Beer: $1.20 Aus per 0.5l
Bar Beer: $2 to $5 Aus per 0,5l depending on area
Food: $1.50 Aus for a tapas, $3 Aus for a huge pizza slice

Everyone knows how good Barcelona is for skating and partying. I won't bother posting too many photos of famous spots you have seen in every video. I guess this photo sums it up for me. Every night during the summer this is how MACBA looks. Cops show up around 11pm, everybody runs to the nearest bar, wait 15 mins and then head back.

RUN, SKATE, CHILL. RUN, SKATE, CHILL.
